Jordan’s Yoga Biography

Jordan-Castellanos-Personal-Trainer-Portland-OR-YogaJordan shares his love for yoga with his students in every practice he guides. From the start of his journey in health, he has made it his goal to understand others needs on a service level. Providing guidance that encourages insight of self as well as the vast potential in each individual, Jordan facilitates a guide that is breath-centered and alignment based.

He always has the individuals safety in mind, but also knows that providing a playful space encourages kinesthetic development for those practitioners willing to explore their capacity for growth. Ultimately, he hopes to connect his students to their true nature of living whole heartedly with compassion for others.

He honors Rocky Heron and Noah Mazé for their guidance in anatomy of yoga and Jivani Yoga for providing the community and space to study yin yoga therapeutics and pranayama in Thailand. Lineages studied throughout YA registered schools include Iyengar, Anusara and Vinyasa.

Jordan is a 500RYT, holds 3 nationally accredited certifications (NASM, PES, MMACA) and has been in the health and fitness industry for 8 years as a personal trainer/movement developer designing programs for runners, athletes and sports specific injury prevention. Off the mat, he enjoys snowboarding for the fluidity of movement and awareness it creates, hiking, playing with his geriatric Labrador, and traveling near and far to experience nature in all its oneness.
